i need to write a piece (any kind: play, poem, creative story, something with creative structure, etc..) for the school literacy magazine that is inspired from a myth. I can't think of a myth that can inspire a story. The only thing i can thing of is about writing about a bad hair day, inspired from medusa's hair (i have been told by my brother, the editor of the litmag that its not good). i also though about writing about going to hell or walking with death but my bro says i may make it cliche.

Can you give me a myth, basic details, the details of the myth i should consider, and something that i can write about?
