Need a new hairstyle but don't know what: what do I do?

I have problems getting my haircut because I never know how I want it or what looks good so it always ends up looking bad. I've looked through those hairstyle magazines and those books at hair places but inspiration never seems to strike me. Any suggestions on what to do, or maybe a good place to go that might help me figure out a style? I live in eastern Iowa if that helps. Thanks!

Get yourself to a good stylist.. most are trained to look at the shape of your face and your features and then can determine what kind of style would look best for you! Have them then go through the style books with you to show you some of the styles and lengths that you can choose from with their professional recommendations! Good luck and Happy Haircutting!

Print out a pic of like Vanessa Anne Hudgens or Ashley Tisdale and take it to your stylist. The long curly look with side swept bangs is really cute.
