I need help organizing my bedroom?

i just need some hints with keeping my room neat and organized.

i need to organize my...

*makeup

*hair stuff

*jewlery

*clothes

*school stuff

*magazines [I HAVE TONS]

*and other simple tricks to storing things.

*i am also getting a laptop soon so any hints on how to keep that neat and store it when not in use

i have a desk with two shelves and a keybaord tray, one drawer available in my bureau, four shelves on my wall, a three shelf book case, a spacious walkin closet with a pole for clothes hangers and five shelves, and space under my twin bed.

i would also like any tips on keeping my card collection on the wall. [my friends and i make each other beauctiful cards with our names on it]

masking tape just wont hold and i wake up in the morning with cards on my bed! any hints? tips?

and anyone know how i can plan a few days worth of outfits and store them? then i'd save itme in the morning for other things!

As far as the magazines go, I recommend throwing them away after about 3 months when you've read them all cover to cover.

I put string (I used hemp or jute and silver thumbtacks) up like a clothesline on my wall and used little clothespins you find in the craft department to clip postcards and photos on there. I put beads on the strings too to make it more decorative. that would work well for your cards. Then you can change them as often as you like without having to buy new frames or nailing another hole in the wall. you can use ribbon instead of string and place the rows vertically or horizontally.

First of all, magazines, buy a storage box or two that will fit under your bed, place the magazines in oldest at bottom new at top, the book case , depending on how big it is sort the makeup you use the most out and arrange it neatly on top or on the top shelf, if you have a jewellery box place that with your makeup and put jewellery in, if not pick up a plain wooden box from a craft store and decorate it to your liking for your jewellery, Hair stuff with the makeup any makeup, hair stuff you don't use all the time place in a storage box under your bed..., with the new laptop put this on your desk when not in use buy a baby blanket or get small fabric in any pattern and and cover it with it and slide under bed, if your desk has a top then hang it over top and place some ornaments or books on top to hold, clothes arrange neatly in your cupboard, the ones you use the most hang up as well as good clothes fold any leftover and place in draws. school stuff keep all together and place in draws or shelves......as for the cards get some double sided mounting tape and the clothes for a couple of days arrange what you want on to clothes hangers and if you have a curtain hang off rod or even place in cupboard but separate to other clothes..... good luck and if you want to know more about home decorating and organising email me @ daywanderer69er@yahoo.com
