i'm looking for a magazine/catalog with stuff for teen girls..

but not the 'omgod look at my new hair style!!'

or the 'I MUST HAVE THOSE SHOES TO MATCH MY PURSE AND HAVE MY DOG MATCH ME TOO!!!'

type of things, i'm not into celebrities and all of that....but i want something with maybe personal articles, interesting things about the world...stuff i actually WANT TO KNOW ABOUT..i'm the alternative type...

any ideas???

sometimes TEEN, SEVENTEEN or teenCOSMO talk about stuff other than only fashion and accessories. they have sections in which they talk of news and real life storeis.

There is a magazine called Today's Teen which and all the articles in it are written by teens for teens. They have book reviews, social features and other things that teens would be interested in. They also have an online site which I'll list below:

i get seventeen, i got teen people it was good but they discontinued it;) i go online to jellybean.com its a cool site they have a magazine but i think its in like australia so i dont have a subscription.
