Does anyone know if the woman in the red dress so horribly injured in the 9/11 WTC disaster survived

The photo is credited to AP Gulnara Samiolava, and it appeared in both TIME, Newsweek magazines immediately after that horrible day.

The woman is wearing a red dress, or shirt, is covered with blood and possibly has burns on her arms. She has red hair, appears alert, sitting on a curb. A man is kneeling above her and embraces her shoulders gently. He wears surgical gloves, a dress shirt, tie.

I've always wondered what happened to her. Does anyone know?

I don't know, but I'm working on finding out. For those who don't know what picture Mother Of All Chaos is talking about, here's a link to it. http://bratislava.usembassy.gov/gal09110...

If the Everett Herald could figure out who the woman on the big 747 Boeing assembly plant doors is (a German model), I think we can figure out who the woman in the 9/11 photo is.

Stay tuned.
