Really dark blue/black smokey eye shadow??

where can i find some?? it's extremely dark blue/black eyeshadow and it looks kinda smokey i think. im tired of my regular light brown eye shadow and i've seen pics of ppl with this eye shadow and it looks really good. if u have the february edition of seventeen magazine, go to the first page of the beauty section where it says how to get kissable lips. it shows a pic of vanessa hudgens and ashley tisdale. ashley tisdale's eye shadow is wat im trying to find, but maybe a little less dramatic and heavy cuz she was at a party, but im talking about for like school and stuff. i have kinda fairish skin but not extremely white. i have dark blonde hair. i wear dark brown eyeliner. plz tell me wear i can get the eye shadow, the name of it, and how much it is. like if it's really expensive or not. THANK U SO MUCH!!

Ok. I have the magizine and I am looking at the picture now. I went to Cover Girls website because it's drugstore prices and their products are pretty awesome. I would go with either of these eyeshadow quads:

Stormy Lites 225

Urban Basics 220

You can add get a black go go with it (or apply your eyeshadow a wet eyeshadow applicator.)

You don't have to go with this blush right here, but if you were wondering, she is wearing a color similar to CG's Sierra Sands 160. Her lips color is close to CG's Wetslicks Lipgloss ShimmerShell. You can find some stuff, especially lipgloss for cheaper, just keep in mind the colors and see what you like best! As far as prcie goes, You could probably get all of what I showed you for no more than $20-$25. If you have time and have a ride, go to Wal-Mart or a drugstore and take a calculator with you. You can also look up the products at Drugstore.com if they carry them and add them to the cart (you don't have to buy) it will add it up for you!

Go to a MAC counter at any local department store and get black eye shadow in loose pigment form. This form will give you the best color payoff. And you can get the smokey look just by blending. Most of the time if you tell the person at MAC what sort of look you have in mind they will be able to demo it for you and show you how its done.

Umm, try every botique you know. if they dont sell eyeshadow like that, then try mixing it, like blue with a darker shade. or just apply alot.

Check out MAC's eyeshadows. They have a wide range of colors, excellent for achieving that smokey look. They also last extremely well. Since you want something a little less dramatic because you go to school, I suggest opting for a dark purple/plum color or a dark blue rather than a black. This way you still get the smokey look, but it's less dramatic and more daytime appropriate and won't look as harsh against a fair skin tone like yours. Purples tend to be the most flattering on people, anyhow. Also, you might want to consider black liner, or a darker version of brown. You're not going to coat this on, but more so line your eyes and smudge it so it gives off that smokey effect. Most brown liners tend to be rather light when they go on, and they don't do much for the smokey appearance. You can always make it nighttime wearable by either doing a darker shade (i.e. a charcoal, etc.) or adding more black liner than you would normally wear, and smudging it in so that it blends, of course.

I wear MAC makeup, and I know that they have sets (usually 3-4 shades) that run around $36. Then they have single colors that I believe cost about $14 per shade.

You can buy MAC online at:

www.maccosmetics.com

You can also buy MAC at department stores who carry the brand. Check the MAC site for a store closest to you.

Hope that helps :-)

mac would most definitely have whatever colour your looking for, and one of the salespeople there could help you find one that went with your hair and colouring.

a less expensive option would be just looking in the makeup section of your local shoppers drug mart or something like that. covergirl or maybelline would prolly have what your looking for for much cheaper.

mac: knight devine, naval, smut or alum would all work. $14

maybelline expertwear eyeshadow: turquoise jewel, or silver lining theyre usually around 3-5 dollars

Try looking at this site www.redgingercosmetics.com , under the Etude section they have single eyeshadows that come in all kinds of color. They dont fade or smudge, which is really great. And its under $10.00! If you still dont find it, You can always blend two colors together.
