Wheather we like it or not, Wheather we agree or not, We have to ACCEPT THE FACT, that AMERICAN CULTURE very clearly defines PHSYSICAL ATTRACTIVENESS. While An "attractive personality" is subjectively defined, IN AMERICA, Physical Attrativeness is define by OBECTIVE CRITERIA: I live and work in the Greater L. A. Area. Lat year I patronize two Hooters restaurants, One on a Thursday evening and another On January 1, 2007, on both visits; the MAJORITY of the waitresses were; YOUNG, BLOND HAIR, BLUE EYES and LARGE BREAST. The November 2006 issue of "Esquire" magazine has Scarlett Johansson in a very short white dress with a "caption" "The sexiest Woman Alive." The April 2007 Issue of "Esquire" magazine has Hilary Swank on the cover, She is showing Large Juicy Breast, caption, "Thank You Lord.". The May 2007 Issue of "Esquire Magazine" shows Halle Berry, my reaction! MY GOD! Looking at these women make me feel like I AM NOTHING, I FEEL LIKE A NOBODY! Men, Women HOW DO YOU FEEL?

I agree, the overall opinion of beauty in America is sick. And its affecting our youth in such a negative way. I'm trying to be happy with me and the way i look... but its so hard when you have pictures and expectations of how u should look to be considered beautiful, thrown in your face.

Considering that a person as unattractive as Bush ended up as our president, I'm not so sure that's completely true...

It makes me feel somewhat superior to those who swallow the line that external anything confers quality on a person. It is all about the internal qualities that define us. Proverbs 31 says that charm is vain and beauty not lasting, but a woman (person) who serves the Lord does not fade. The ladies in my Red Hat group and the survivors in my oncologists office may not be glossy and busty, but they are beautiful and vivid with life and love!

Funny I regard them as nobody next to me. They have no accomplishments ! They just look what we are programmed through evolutionary process to regard as attractive. And it's not only in America, it's the whole world. Stupid men are more likely to appreciate looks then smarter ones, based on my observation.

I don't let it bother me. Beauty too is a subjective thing. Some men find Paris Hilton or Nicole Ritchie attractive, I find them unattractive. They are nothing but skin and bones. Give me Queen Latifah any day. While most blonde's are idolized, my wife who, in my humble opinion is the most beautiful woman in the world is brunette. So, even though you live in the land of plastic surgery and the constant striving for physical perfection, there is no such thing. For Every guy you introduce me to who thinks Scarlett Johannsan is the sexiest woman alive, I can find a guy who thinks Monique' is the epitome of beauty. Hang in there brother, you'll find the girl of your dreams, maybe not in L.A. but somewhere. I guarantee it.

If you saw what they have to go through to look that way you probably wouldn't want it. Between the 5 hours of exercise classes and starvation diets and ton's of makeup and plastic surgury.

Money, fame, and even looks does not buy happiness.

If it did Marlyian Monroe and Elvis Presley wouldn't have had to drowned their sorrows by taking drugs until they died.

As so many others have done.

The bible says give me not poverty or riches.

Because those in the middle who marry average looking people are the happiest. How does it help you to have men oggle you like a piece of bbq steak?

Do they look at these women and say, "now their is a nice girl that I would like to settle down with and raise a family?"

Or what a piece of meat for the night?

Would they take them home to their mother to meet?
