I can't stand tweezing, and going to a salon isn't convenient....I saw in a magazine Sally hansen brown hair ermover.
you are suposed to brush this stuff through the area you'd usually pluck or something......anyone tried this or something like this?
is hair removal safe?
other sugestions..?
Is there other ways to shape brows without tweezers?
Yes, there are other options for removing brow hair.
Such ways are:
Waxing
Shaving(DON'T DO IT!)
Tweezing, etc.
My dad served overseas a couple of years ago, and this woman over there, she shaped his eyebrows with a string.
He said it was utterly painless, and believe me, he's a big baby.
I don't know how they did it with a string, but he said it was not plucking. All they did was twist a string, and the hairs came out!

hair removal isn't such a good idea.. if it goes into your eyes you could go blind. also that area is extremely sensitive and those harsh chemicals arent good for it. one option would be to buy an at home waxing kit but it deff hurts a lot! but if you want to go ahead and use hair removal be EXTREMELY careful and make sure you do a test patch to make sure your not allergic to the chemicals.

Personally, (as a skin care professional) I wouldn't recommend any hair removal product to be used on any of the eye area. The skin around the eye is hyper-sensitive, more so than the rest of the skin on the face, and you could be facing some seriously irritated eye-brows when you're done.
If you can't head to a salon to wax the brows, try using a warm compress on your brows before tweezing. The heat from the compress will allow the pores to open a tad, then when you tweeze, it won't hurt so badly.

I have very sensitive skin and can't use waxes, or hair removers, and tweezers hurt worse than tattoos, I found eyebrow shapers @ walmart, they are cheap and they are little razors with skin guards on them as to not cut yourself, you have to use it more often than waxing, but the do a great job

You can shave them with a razor. Also, nail shops do eyebrow waxing. You can be in and out in 10 minutes.

yes it is ok to use hair removal. there is even some that
are for sentive skin. there are different types too, such as creams, if you can't stand the pain of pulling against the grain

I've used Sally hair removal products for the legs, but never my eyebrows.
In my opinion, it did not work at all. It took off some hair, but not a lot. It took a really really long time of leaving the product on for any hair removal - more time than it was supposed to stay on. Plus it smelled so bad. It truly smells like it's burning your hair off. I don't recommend it from my experience..
You could try using a brow pen %26amp; brow brush - you can draw in and shape your brows pretty easily with that. I know how inconvenient salon's are too - and I hate plucking.

Hair removal used on legs, underarm and other parts are basically safe. But i don't recommend hair removal on face or noticeable areas.
In the Phils, they have this twined thin thread they hold on both hands. Beauticians glide this thin thread over the hair and the hair seem to get stuck between the twined thread. Its a lot faster than using tweezers.

I would not recommend this, especially around your eyes. The skin around your eyes is extremely sensitive and you could damage it easily if you don't know exec tally what you are doing.
I would recommend either going to the salon and getting them waxed but be specific what look you want and don't let them take too much off! But I really like threading, it doesn't hurt as much and it lasts longer. You can usually find someone in a local directory or ask your salon if they know anyone.
You have to be careful with any at home hair removal.
Good Luck.
