Getting a haircut over the weekend, any ideas/help?

I'm going to be getting my hair cut (finally!) this weekend. My hair is curly (looks something like this girl's hair: http://www.curly-hair-styles-magazine.co... and it is to my shoulders/a little below my shoulders. I occasionally straighten it (then it's definitely below my shoulders), but want to find a haircut that will work both ways, especially when curly.

I want to change it, but I don't want to loose a lot of my length. Any ideas? How should I get it cut? Pictures would be GREAT! :)

i had it last year... it looked cute straight and curly. especially straight with the ends flipped out.
