Please interpret my weird dream?

i had a dream just last night about a person that i have never met or even seen before in real life, but i know shes real bc ive seen her on tv and magazines and stuff, but i feel liek i need to meet her in real life, like i need to tell her things that she needs to hear, but last night i had a dream that she had liek a different haircut and she asked me how does it look, and she has sad eyes because she is a lonely person in real life, and i like put my hands up to touch her hair and i just said its pretty, its very beautiful, your always beautiful and she just looked at me with the most beautiful, sad blue eyes, she always looks sad and she was just looking at me and then i just grabbed her and hugged her bc i felt i needed to,but when i hugged her it was like she wasnt there, it was liek my arms went through her. and i was confused in the dream. it felt soo real like we met subconsiously while we were both sleeping felt like more than a dream.what do you think that dream meant????

Please interpret my weird dream?

You're probably lonely and want someone to love unconditionally and love you unconditionally. Dreams like these are amazing btw.

Please interpret my weird dream?

i think it means your in love with her%26gt;.%26lt;

Please interpret my weird dream?

That maybe you like her but you don't know the REAL her.

or that you like her for superficial reasons!!!

IDK i'm not an official on this!!!

How does a 14 year old guy get a girl to like him? PLEASE help!?

I am a 14 year old guy and i really like this girl... I am not incredibly good looking ( i have a 'larger than normal' nose), I wear cool glasses, and I have braces until August (2007) but not the ugliest guy in the world. I am on the artsy side, and dress alot more fashionable ("eccentric" to normal people). I have medium spiked hair that has blonde highlights.

As for personality, I am more on the non-athletic, artsy, emotional guy. I am an actor, and I love being different, but not retarded weird. I DO read 'girlier' magazines (Vogue, J-14, Teen Vogue, etc.) I think I am funny! lol I definately dont sweat the small stuff. In my opinion I am a really nice guy...

But nearly every girl I know always falls for the jock or more athletic, and stereotypical guy! They all think i am great (at least I hope ... lol) but none of them have ever really like liked me.

I need desperate help! Do I need to act more like the other guys? Or am I just too ugly? Too skinny? Too weird? Too nice? Help

How does a 14 year old guy get a girl to like him? PLEASE help!?

Awww...you're fine. The best way to get a girl to like you is by being yourself. If you change for her, you're not going to change for your better nor are you going to remain that way for the rest of your life. Honesty is important in a relationship and the best way by starting a healthy one, is by being yourself. Good luck!

How does a 14 year old guy get a girl to like him? PLEASE help!?

Jump a bum with a skateboard.

For reals, I'll be blunt

Are you fat? Cuz you can kiss your chances good by if your a fat one. No chick at that age would ever be caught dead with a big boy. So lose weight if you're fat. Likewise, pushup sit up and cardio never hurt anyone it'll only make you look better and more fit.

Next, whats she into? And is that what you're into? If you really want to land this girl you need to be in the same social club as her. And you need to be atleast beta or charlie male of the group. Anything less than delta and you better pray she finds you funny and even that you'll need to be good looking.

Girls are not always looking for jocks. Jocks have confidence. And they have jock buddies, they do macho things, high fiving goofing off. They look like they're in their elements. And that attracts a girl. You just need to be cool, be confident, don't give out creepy vibes. Be friends with her friends and work your way in.

Finally kill competitors. Find out who she's into, or who is into her. This is war and your goal is to win. This is tricky because it can backfire on you, so you need to be a CIA ninja... On crack. Find dirt, find weaknesses. Spread rumors if you have to. Or if you know a girl who is into him, throw her at him. Be discreet, use friends and connections. This works in 2 ways, the girl and the guy goes out and your problems are over, or he ignores her and he'll look like a punk. When the ladder happens and people bring it up, just say "What a punk!" and bam.

Theres alot of pretending in this plan, but if she's not into you now chances are she'll never be unless you change your ways. So good luck.

omg wow, where have u been all my life? most girls seem to go for the jock guys. art guys are so much harder to find, which makes them more special. all u need to do is be yourself, maybe u are not THE GUY for some girls, but u will to the right one. who knows maybe if u ever become a proffesional actor those girls will be saying i wih i dated him... and there is nothing wrong with a guy reading girly magazines. it just means he's better understanding of girls and a better boyfriend, oh well, hope this helped :D

How does a 14 year old guy get a girl to like him? PLEASE help!?

aww hun..be yourself. the girls you're going for are probably too stuck on themselves to see your natural charm. you seem intelligent and sweet and the right girl will come to you. try going for girls that seem interested in the same things you are. don't change for anybody. you can only be yourself otherwise you'd be someone else.

How does a 14 year old guy get a girl to like him? PLEASE help!?

Just be confident and when you're talking to a girl that you like make it clear that you're interested in her and not just trying to be a friend. Also, maybe you should lift weights during the summer.

How does a 14 year old guy get a girl to like him? PLEASE help!?

be yourself and a lil bit more outgoing to get sum girls attention, b/c once u have a few girls attention u got a lot more.. so just be nice, open doors, help dem wit hw, say jokes, ask for numbers dont be afraid 2 get rejected..or betta yet give a 1 special girl your number

How does a 14 year old guy get a girl to like him? PLEASE help!?

Ahh High school. How I do miss those days! Listen bud this'll be blunt and maybe even a little disappointing, but it's the HONEST truth. H.S will either be the best or worst time of your life. What it will be, for sure, is a building block for what you will become in the next decade or so. Your experiences, whether good or awful, will make you decide on what kind of guy you want to be. In order to find out you'll need to gain some experience. Just go out there, be yourself. Everyone is just as clueless and insecure as the next person waiting for sloppy joes in the lunch line. Just talk to her and listen... I can't say that enough. "LISTEN" to her. You'll start noticing if she really likes you if she starts carrying the conversation . A girl who wants nothing to do with you, will answer you with "yes" and "no" and all the other close ended answers. They'll want the conversation to end ASAP. Once you have a routine conversation established, like lets say by her locker after 4th period where u have 10 mins before the next class, start hinting on things u like. Food and movies are always a good one. If your talking routinely by now, you must have something in common, find what that is and build on it. She likes sundaes? Well ask her to go have a sundae w/ you at your local hang out. Dont be awkward with it either, just ask like it came from nowhere and be confident like you always knew she'd day yes.... There's the first step, now just relax and enjoy the journey. Success or failure, it doesnt matter. You're living life experiences. ;) .... Don't worry about the jocks and pretty boys. Your 14. Give it 10 years and many of those guys will be overweight and alone. You need to keep youself in a positive outlook in life. Always improving, always hungry. Learn from your mistakes, and trust me mistakes are waiting for you throughout H.S. Trial and error is the best way to learn. Again H.S will either be the worst or best time of your life. Might as well try and make it the best .... Stay confident. Happy hunting my man, there'll be so much more of it!

Does anyone know if the woman in the red dress so horribly injured in the 9/11 WTC disaster survived

The photo is credited to AP Gulnara Samiolava, and it appeared in both TIME, Newsweek magazines immediately after that horrible day.

The woman is wearing a red dress, or shirt, is covered with blood and possibly has burns on her arms. She has red hair, appears alert, sitting on a curb. A man is kneeling above her and embraces her shoulders gently. He wears surgical gloves, a dress shirt, tie.

I've always wondered what happened to her. Does anyone know?

Does anyone know if the woman in the red dress so horribly injured in the 9/11 WTC disaster survived?

I don't know, but I'm working on finding out. For those who don't know what picture Mother Of All Chaos is talking about, here's a link to it. http://bratislava.usembassy.gov/gal09110...

If the Everett Herald could figure out who the woman on the big 747 Boeing assembly plant doors is (a German model), I think we can figure out who the woman in the 9/11 photo is.

Stay tuned.

Weird dream the other night! Please Interpret!!??

i had a dream just last night about a person that i have never met or even seen before in real life, but i know shes real bc ive seen her on tv and magazines and stuff, but i feel liek i need to meet her in real life, like i need to tell her things that she needs to hear, but last night i had a dream that she had liek a different haircut and she asked me how does it look, and she has sad eyes because she is a lonely person in real life, and i like put my hands up to touch her hair and i just said its pretty, its very beautiful, your always beautiful and she just looked at me with the most beautiful, sad blue eyes, she always looks sad and she was just looking at me and then i just grabbed her and hugged her bc i felt i needed to,but when i hugged her it was like she wasnt there, it was liek my arms went through her. and i was confused in the dream. it felt soo real like we met subconsiously while we were both sleeping felt like more than a dream.what do you think that dream meant?

Weird dream the other night! Please Interpret!!??

It is hard to really connect with these celebrities. Their image is mainly manufactured and marketed to the public. You connected with this public persona in your dream, but did not connect with the real person so when you tried to hug her, you found nothing to hug. One can get caught up in chasing visions that not really real. It is hard sone times in thiis world to separate what is real and from what is made to apear real. One has to be careful about chasing fantasies or unattainable visions. You need to focus more on your real live connections and relationships in this world and attaining that you can be sure is reachable. Meditate/pray, exercise, and eat healthy, so that you will get strong spiritually, and reach for only the reachable stars in life.

Weird dream the other night! Please Interpret!!??

This girl = desire

Basically, you have this desire of meeting someone whom you wish to be perfect. It does not matter whether you meet this person or not. This girl in translation symbolizes your desire of a close relationship. In other words, you may be lonely now and you are looking for close relationship and that is why you vent this out in dream.

Body Image! Media Good or Bad?

Over the past few days I have seen a few blogs on body image. Here's what I want to contribute, and what I hope to achive is a serious discussion the topic. I'm not here to be flamed, im here to chat and make friends and have some good chats about the things that effect us all. I don't want to offend any one either, so please don't moan. :D

First i'd like you to consider this image.. to the left is me, to the right is a celeb image. What i idolise, what i want to look like. check out the link http://jan21a.imghost.us/YSfv.jpg

I wrote a blog about how i was depressed about how I looked,

"Feeling Depressed %26amp; the only cure would be to kill myself in the Gym!"

I was actually Shocked to get people messaging me telling me not to be stupid.. how could i be depressed over such a thing. Thanks for the compliments, they made me feel better, but as soon as i started looking at magazines, or watched tv, or seen anything media related, i felt like **** again.

Everyone has a body image; the way in which a person sees their own body. A body image may be poor, or good, depending on the perceptions that are involved. A poor body image involves negative perceptions (i.e. "I'm unattractive," or "I'm too fat," etc,) where as a good body image involves positive perceptions. Extreme criticism of one's own body is characteristic of Body Dysmorphic Disorder, which involves a distorted body image.

A person's self image is the mental picture, generally of a kind that is quite resistant to change, that depicts not only details that are potentially available to objective investigation by others (height, weight, hair color, sex, I.Q. score, is this person double-jointed, etc.), but also items that have been learned by that person about himself or herself, either from personal experiences or by internalizing the judgments of others. Those items include the answers to such questions as:

Am I thin? Am I fat? Am I attractive? Am I weak? Am I strong? Am I intelligent? Am I stupid? Am I a good person? Am I a bad person? Am I masculine? Am I feminine? Am I likable?

So ideas for feedback :D... Do you think the media is good or bad for the mental health of society? does depress you too? Can you give your thoughts and feelings about your own body image? Does this media promote motivation for self improvement? or does it just make you wanna hide? What about being gay/bi, does that make it worse, do straight guys feel the same? Im all for accepting myself for what i am, but i find it very difficult becaus eof these very reason.:( over and out... :D

Body Image! Media Good or Bad?

You're not that far from your ideal to begin with, and you look fine to me.

Advertisement in particular along with the rest of the media (obviously) use ideals in their work. I don't know how much of an influence it really is on the individual.

While straight guys may have body image issues, they have it far less often than gay men do, or so it seems to me. My guess is that they realize that the object of their attraction, women, can be won over without the "look." Men, on the other hand, are very visually focused so as gay men, we worry about our attractiveness.

It's a great topic for lengthy discussion. Not sure if I want to type that much right now, though! ;)

Body Image! Media Good or Bad?

Media is horrible for self image. It sets standards way too high when the general public does not look that way. Don't feel discouraged...there is always going to be something that you don't like about yourself...but until you decide to be content with your body and personality...no one else is going to find you attractive. Confidence is attractive...

Body Image! Media Good or Bad?

gooooood to look at. bad to ever attain

Body Image! Media Good or Bad?

The media only wants to portray the people it considers beautiful or sexy; they want to glorify society. It's a dumb idea.

I can relate to what you are feeling, as I am not the best with my self-image. I have a childish face, and it depresses me, as does my body; I often feel that I am not thin enough.

The media is definitely unhealthy for self-image; people should try to dissociate themselves from those ideals of 'beauty' and develop their own.

To the first answerer: You cannot "decide" to be confident. Even though you may hold your head high in public, the nagging thoughts will be there. This sort of thing cannot be helped but professionally. I have been there and done that with my own self-esteem; trust me.

Body Image! Media Good or Bad?

The media.

Bad, bad, bad. When does the Media ever promote you just being you? Ha.

Try this, do that, you don't look good enough, buy our protein shake. It's just advertising, negative reinforcement that we should all be superficial...

Of course it has a negative impact on all of us. It does on me a little, I'm not going to lie.

Body Image! Media Good or Bad?

First off you look good, I would love to have a man with your body, do not be so down on yourself, and keep yourself happy, do not let what others say afect the way you feel about yourself, it's all good, if you are happy be happy.

Body Image! Media Good or Bad?

You look fine-the person on the right probably all his time is taken up trying to keep it looking that way and has no time for anything else in their life-they focus on themselves and nothing else.

Body Image! Media Good or Bad?

Don't know if it's just me, but I'm not getting your pics from the link, just to the sites main page.

Overall, we seem to have declined into a state where the media really negatively affects people's own perceptions of their bodies. You say 'how could i be depressed over such a thing', when the reality is that millions of people have become depressed, due to their own internalised perception of how they are and how they 'should be'. Such thinking has caused people to commit suicide, I'd recommend that you consider your words carefully, before posting - remember, your words have influence over others.

I'd love to live in a society where people feel better about themselves, just as they are. Including where size 0 for women isn't something that's desired. Self-esteem can be trashed when people are surrounded by adverts and media content that condition them to believe that they are not good enough.

Specifically for gay and bi guys, there has been parrallel development of body 'fascism', as documented in several books over the last decade or so. Nasty.

Hope these thoughts help. Good luck! Rob

Hey yong and restless fans?

Heather the new D.A.

came across a picture in the magazines like family circle or good houskeeping..there is a picture of a model for dieting system called Akavar 20/50

she looks to be early 20,s hec even younger...lucky her and she is in a black bikini swimsuit with her hair wet and pulled back..this is her YES? same mole on the upper lip and her face is just unique anyways...take a look....It is soooo her if not she has a major twin...

Hey yong and restless fans?

Maybe I need to see the print ad because I don't think that this is her.....

http://www.akavarfacts.com/category/akav...

Hey yong and restless fans?

yes. this is her yes. why yes it is. yes.

Hey yong and restless fans?

YES. If we reverse things, a person taking Akavar will find that it is easy to pass up the late night snack, the second trip to the buffet line, or the urge to "biggie size" their meal.

Hey yong and restless fans?

I don't think it's her

Hey yong and restless fans?

I just looked at the link that Nikki so kindly provided. She doesn't look that much like the actress that plays Heather. And this woman doesn't even have a mole. The actress that plays Heather has a HUGE mole by the left corner of her lip. (When you are facing her it would be on YOUR right). So no this obviously isn't the same person.

Hey yong and restless fans?

She is hotter than the hubs of hell but her character makes her into a B word.

Hey yong and restless fans?

I just looked at the link Nikki provided and didn't see any model, only a picture of legs from the knees down standing on some scales in the upper corner... where can I see the model you all are talking about?

Hey yong and restless fans?

I just googled "Akavar 20/50", and saw the pic you are talking about.

As pretty as she is, it is Not the girl who plays Heather.

Heather is young, but has a much more square face, and longer jaw line. She also has rounded ears, where the models ears dip in a little to form corners at the top.

And if you look closer, the mark you thought was a mole on her lip is only a shadow of the girls nose, since it is rectangular and hangs down over her lip. Also, "Heather"s eyes are closer to her eyebrows; the models eye brows and eyes are farther apart.

I hope I could have helped.

Why are some people so against Beauty pagents and such?

I know I have kinda harped on this subject, but I never heard of people being so down on pagents until I started getting on Yahoo Answers. One of my best friends growing up, was in pagents all her life and she is a perfectly normal, sweet, loving adult, so she wasn't harmed by them. I have heard some on her make reference to perverts and such, but I have never heard a case where a child was harmed as a direct result of a pagent. They haven't even proved why Jon Benet was killed, so there is no proof it was related to the pagents. I personally wouldn't put put all that makeup, hair pieces, and $1000 costumes, but regular pagents, like local town pagents don't do this, or not the ones I have seen. If a child wants to do these pagents, the parents don't deserve to be critisized for allowing it. What is the difference in these pagents and a parent who gets their kid an agent and starts hiring them out as a model for clothes companies or magazines? It is all in good fun, so please tell me.

Why are some people so against Beauty pagents and such?

where we come from in the country these little pagents were just a part of the county fair and i have never seen any harm in them.. i always enjoyed watching the parades of little kids as well as bigger kids participate in these.. it should be a parents decesion just how far you take your chilod in life as far as getting them in the lime light.. if you have a beautiful child by all means show them off..personally i am looking forward to going to this parade and seeing my great niece .. i'll probably say hi ariel and she will say there's marsha..ok that's all i have to say on the pagent subject..good luck kid.. on to bigger and better things as long as they are in taste..might think about that long lank boy of yours doing some male modeling

Why are some people so against Beauty pagents and such?

When does good fun turn into an obsession?

When does the person become less of a person and more of a commodity?

Why are some people so against Beauty pagents and such?

Its not just those reasons. I am not against pageants, but some people are because they can foster (not cause) eating disorders, stress disorders, depression, and loss of self-esteem. Depends on the person and the situation in my opinion.

Why are some people so against Beauty pagents and such?

They are OUT-DATED ! It's NOT the 60's anymore. And a model isn't the same thing. They're not in a parade...

Why are some people so against Beauty pagents and such?

It's okay for you to continue your life with blinders on and ignore facts. I'm not totally anti-pageant, but then I don't get to choose what these money-hungry grubs organize to flaunt the innocent kids.

I think you may have smelled too much Alpo and your brain has gone to the dogs.

Why are some people so against Beauty pagents and such?

It is my opinion that people are down on pageants because they tend to lend a "meat market" atmospere to the whole thing. Little girls grow up to believe that looking good is what counts the most. If this is something that you don't have a problem with in your life, then more power to you. But when girls are started off at an extremely young age, and when they have totally no choice in the matter at all, I have a problem. Contrary to the claims put forth by the parents, these contests are not for the kids, they are for the parents ego.

I believe if parents want a Barbie doll, then they can go to

Toys R Us and buy one.

Why are some people so against Beauty pagents and such?

I believe that a lot of people don't like beauty pageants because of the way they objectify women--ie women as objects. As far as exploiting children, that would probably have to be on a case by case basis, depending on the parents of the child, etc. Is there a difference between that and modelling out your child? Probably not, although modelling could be considered more like a job, while pageants are something of an anomoly--more like performance or a pasttime, not a job. I'm sure that it is all on a case by case basis; some folks model or do beauty pageants and have no problems; others are indeed exploited and/or objectified.

Why are some people so against Beauty pagents and such?

becuase its the parents obession not the childs. children shouldnt be shown off.

Why are some people so against Beauty pagents and such?

This is a case where a a few twisted people %26amp; the news media worp the public view of something. There is nothing wrong with pagents in general, like most things there only truely bad when taken to extreans.

Why are some people so against Beauty pagents and such?

I am against them because I believe all children are beautiful and shouldn't have to be judged to be seen that way. No there was never proof that a pageant caused Jon Benet's death but there is no proof that it didn't either. I just don't see why these parents feel the need to pose their children and not allow them to be children. I think that the pageant yours was in wasn't as bad as far as make up, hair, and the costumes but I still disagree with it. Kids don't feel beautiful enough today to be put through that. You are just starting to put her in the town pageants, what next? You will move to other places and become more obsessed with it. Why do you have to prove that your child is beautiful to other people? We teach our kids not to worry with what people think about them, yet put them on a stage for people to judge them. Makes no sense at all. The majority of those children are dressed in small clothes, hair done, and make up on, they are portrayed as little adults not children. So when a monster does look at them in a horrible way, it's on those parents. Don't parade your children around like objects, allow them to be children and run around in your house or yard, etc. and have fun. I really don't see where a kid can decide they like it, if that's all they have known their whole lives either. The ones that started later I can see it but not these kids that were "born" in to it. Parents have the influence in it, not the kids. If mom says to them, "it's fun, you'll love it" and they say it enough, the child will also say that. The difference in pageants and modeling is the career in it for one, the fact that the kid isn't sitting in front of judges saying, "nope you aren't beautiful" for two, and they are modeling clothes for a company, not for a parent who wants to think their child is more beautiful then the other mothers child. It isn't all in good fun either. Look at these mothers who purposely sabotage other children's costumes, buy the judges, sleep with the judges, etc. all so their child wins. Look at the mothers who go after another childs mother because that child won and not theirs, how is that fun?

Why are some people so against Beauty pagents and such?

3 words why: Jon Benet Ramsey.

Why are some people so against Beauty pagents and such?

Because they make kids look like creepy little dolls that should be in horror movies.

Let the kid be a kid.
